Polaroid 7ã¢â‚¬â Tablet and Keyboard W/quad-core Processor Reviews
I'm going to be getting a new tablet to effort out one-time shortly, and I'm nearly at my limit of tablet cases. My Nexus vii has its own case, and I've been keeping my Fire and my iPad in a cheap Travelocity-make spandex zipper case that'south perfectly sized to fit the 7" devices, that I got for a couple bucks at a Family Dollar shop. (I put them both in the i case, dorsum to back.) I keep a cheap prepare of earphones and a tablet stand in the zipper pocket on the front.
Merely I needed more cases, so I headed down to check out the selection at a local Large Lots store—which happened to have a Family unit Dollar and a Dollar General correct next to it so was able to check the selection of all iii. (As I've said earlier, deep discount stores can exist bully budget accessory sources.)
As information technology happened, the but one of the stores that had any tablet cases was Big Lots. I'd been hoping for something similar my Travelocity example, merely they didn't take any of that sort. Instead, I found some cheap Polaroid-make page cases for $8 each—rendered fifty-fifty more inexpensive by the purchase-one-go-half-off sale the store was running on them. So I grabbed two of them. (Equally it turns out, I got an fifty-fifty ameliorate deal than I thought. When I plug the bar code into Amazon, it returns a cost of $15.88 and simply 1 shade of pink. Though this other Polaroid page seems similar, admitting without the two-tone color interior/exterior.)
For all their cheapness (I sincerely doubt they're made by the same company that had anything to do with instamatic cameras!) they take a clever design to them. The department that holds the tablet in has two sets of loops—you use the inner prepare for something smaller, like my Fire, or the outer set for the larger iPad Mini.
The console on the right hinges upwardly and then it tin can sit down in i of the iii notches in the velour embrace to turn it into an easel. Or, you can bend the cover back behind the tablet and hold it in your hands. The elastic strap at left loops around the back of the case to agree it shut when you're not using it. (I tried to apply information technology to hold the cover effectually behind the tablet, but that wasn't every bit satisfactory.)
The styluses are kind of weird—they're really short little stylus nibs, that put me in listen of the stubby pencils we used to utilise all the way down to the end in grade school. Or perchance some kind of weird rifle bullet, given the brass color of the one with the grey and orange case. They adhere to a plastic plug that plugs into the earphone jack of your tablet so you don't lose it. That said, I'yard not certain I'd ever utilize them that way—they might get caught on something and yanked out, or else they might bang against and scratch up the glass screen. I'll probably just stuff them in the zipper pocket of that Travelocity spandex example instead. In any effect, I don't often employ styluses but they seemed to work okay.
All in all, the cases seem sturdy plenty. I'k not certain I'd trust them to protect annihilation hugely expensive, or in actually rough conditions, but they seem reasonably protective, the soft interior of the embrace won't scratch the screen, and the congenital in three-position easel could come up in handy for typing and such. I'yard not certain which tablets I'm going to keep cased like this and which are going to go back in the Travelocity instance when I get the new one to try out, merely I'k looking forward to finding out.
All in all, I call back these cases are quite a bargain. And at that price, why not give 'em a shot to encounter what they're like? If they work out actually well for me, I might stop upwards buying more than expensive cases in the same style erstwhile downwards the route.
Maybe you might want to stop in at your local Large Lots and see if they've got something useful likewise.
